Broken has so many meanings and it is used in so many ways,
but when it is being used as a feeling internally, it hits home. Sometimes it
is hard to see beyond the brokenness, but with some help we can get through
this.
BROKEN
Pieces in someone’s life…
Hearts shattered…
Words which were empty promises
Houses that are damaged through natural disasters
Lives through different wars that are being fought for peace
And finally,
Broken by people who don’t recognize the affects they have
through their own demeanors. We feel broken in so many ways and getting through
the brokenness in our lives is tough. We wonder where to turn and how to get
through it. We try and turn to our friends who help us out in so many ways, no
matter what the situation is, and the closest friends will stand by us no
matter what. The closest people in our lives will always be that listening ear
and the encourager to help us get through it even though we can’t seem to see
it. It is those people whom we appreciate the most, because they have helped us
to get through the brokenness in our lives.
When we are alone and feel that dark cloud and our brokenness can’t seem to go away, we hear that voice inside fighting and because we are tired of all the pain, and when we look up, we see two strong hands coming to us. We realize that God is extending His hands to us and asking us to accept His help and Healing Hands to help and heal our internal wounds. We then learn that nothing is great for Him and to rest our brokenness in His Palm of His hands until we are ready to face the world again but not alone, but His help and the closeness of our friends that God has provided in our path to get us through it.
