When The Holidays Are Tough

This is for those who have lost someone, or anyone they won't be with for the holiday seasons. I miss grandfather a whole lot and so, I hope this is something comforting to those you reads it...

When the Holidays are tough...

We feel sad...
We feel depressed...
We feel alone...
We feel we cannot go on...
We feel that we have no strength to carry on...

And then...

We wonder if we can get through it..
We wonder if we can make new beginnings...
We wonder if our loved ones will see us...
We wonder if our loved ones are okay...
We wonder if our loved ones ever come back...
We wonder if our loved ones are safe...
We wonder if our loved ones will see their families again...
We wonder if our loved ones will be in contact with us...
We wonder if our loved ones hear and feel our prayers...

And Finally,

We miss our loved ones that went on before us. The holiday seasons can be tough for anyone who are going through a rough time. We have our days where we are doing good, and then we have our days where we just break down and cry. We feel alone and its dark. We may have a loved one in the armed forces fighting for our country, or is very sick in the hospital, and not sure if they will make it, or we have a loved one who passed away from us prior or a couple days the holidays. In times like this, we must try and remember the good times and the sillyness we had with our loved ones who have passed. For those who are out fighting for our country, we must always tell them that we love them very much and that we are proud of them, because you never know in that hour what may happen. We pray for their safe return. Most important of them all, is that God is with us through our struggles and pains and He is even closer to us when we are saddened. The Son of God was born to be Our Saviour, so in this time, we can turn to Him, because he will keep us in His Palm of His Hands until we are ready to walk again!
